Volume 8 All pictures taken April to July, 1998

Kelly's been enjoying first grade. Her teacher says she's doing OK.	We spent a day at the beach and Kelly found a starfish.	Casey caught crabs and put them in a pail. He also floated around on his water ring.
Dad taught Kelly how to ride a bicycle. The first session brought frustra- tion, the second success.	I took the kids along to a picnic with my Saturday students. Casey enjoyed the watermelon.	My student Fuyuki brought a fishing rod and Casey tried his luck in the river. No luck.
Kelly, being a 6 year old, started losing teeth. Here one is missing; she soon lost 2 more.	At a summer festival at Casey's preschool, I caught him stealing his first (?) kiss.	Kelly's school had a sports meet on a sunny day. Casey made the scene in his mother's mirror shades.
