Volume 13  All pictures taken March, 2000 to May, 2000

We went to Singapore for our March vacation, and Kelly posed for this picture at River Quay. Taro refused to pose.	From Singapore we went on to the island of Bintan, Indonesia, where Kelly spent a lot of time by and in the pool.	Taro got to be a lot more comfortable in the water and learned how to use goggles and put his face in the water.
We ate a lot of great food in Singapore, including Chinese noodles.	The first week of May Gihong took the kids down to Osaka to see her side of the family. They took the bullet train.	Taro got a scooter and Kelly still rides her unicycle.
Finally, at six years old, Taro learned how to ride a bicycle without training wheels. I'd been wanting to teach him, but he'd always told me he was scared.	And speaking of turning 6, here's the little Birthday Boy now. He cleans up pretty good.	I don't appear much in these pages, but I'll stick myself in with the kids one time. We were on a bus in Indonesia, and Dad's face was lobster red from the sun.
